The JESUS PAID IT ALL Christian T-shirt shares the message of Christ’s finished work of redemption, rooted in John 19:30.
Tetelestai — It Is Finished. Paid in Full.
“When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, ‘It is finished,’ and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.” — John 19:30
Tetelestai (τετέλεσται) is the Greek word used in John 19:30. It means “it is finished” and carries the sense of something being completed, accomplished, or paid in full.
When Jesus said, “Tetelestai,” He declared that His work of redemption was complete. The debt of sin was paid. Nothing needed to be added to His sacrifice.
